Vehicle History Reports
What is a Vehicle History Report, and how can it help you? Whenever you buy a used car, you should do all that you can to ensure it is in good condition inside and out. Generally the condition of the car can be noticeable by simply looking at it, and test driving it. However, some faults in a vehicle are not as easily detectable.
Because many hidden problems in vehicles arise from past accidents and repairs, a common step in used car buying is to get a Vehicle History Report (VHR). These reports will let you know if a vehicle has been in any wrecks or accidents and what work has been done to them. By knowing this, you can truly inspect the vehicle and see if there are any underlying faults.
Some buyers also get a certified mechanic to inspect the vehicle prior to purchase. A mechanic can often find things that the average person may miss. If you have a vehicle history report, please provide it to the mechanic before they inspect the car.
